Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Design Production Manager (Water Sector) to lead multi-disciplinary engineering design delivery on UK water projects. You will work with the Design Delivery Manager, mentor design leads and ensure technical excellence, SHE compliance and on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Based from UK locations including Warrington and other regional offices, the role supports agile working with a focus on safety and value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams on large projects.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of the water industry and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design solutions from inception to completion on large and/or complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Ensure designs adhere to client specifications, standards and operational requirements.
• Manage financial budgets and programmes for design activities and the delivery of projects.
• Mentor Design Leads to ensure technical excellence, risk management and SHE compliance.
