Job summary

Affinity Water invites applications for a Sampler to join the Staines Water Quality Sampling Team. You will visit treatment works and sites in and around Staines to collect water samples, working independently to manage daily schedules.

You will also handle data input in internal systems and use MS Excel, with weekend standby responsibilities and a focus on accurate sample recording and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Full UK Clean/Manual UK Driving Licence required.
• 3 GCSEs with grade 4 (C) or above (Desirable).
• Ability to perform manual handling safely and competently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Visit water treatment works, reservoirs and sites in and around Staines to collect water samples.
• Perform routine, non-routine and random sampling, working independently to meet daily schedules.
• Interact with customers to gain access to properties for sampling.
• Input data and record samples in internal systems using core IT tools.
• Participate in weekend and out-of-hours standby rota with notice provided.
