Job summary

Affinity Water is recruiting a Part Time Sampler for our Stevenage Water Quality Sampling Team. You will spend time out visiting water treatment works, reservoirs and other Affinity Water sites in and around Stevenage, collecting water samples across our operational area.

You will work independently to follow a daily sampling schedule, interact with customers for access to properties, and perform data entry on our internal systems using MS Excel and other Office tools.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (4/C or above) or equivalent.
• Full UK Clean/Manual Driving Licence.
• Able to perform manual handling safely (valves, lids).
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Visit water treatment works, reservoirs and Affinity Water sites in and around Stevenage to collect water samples.
• Work independently to complete daily sampling schedule and plan daily routes.
• Interact with customers to gain access to properties for sampling and engage with the public.
• Input data and record samples into internal systems, using MS Excel for data entry and tracking.
