Job summary

Pertemps Thames Water is seeking a Process Scientist – Clean Water based at Farmoor with hybrid working. You will provide expert technical support to field operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and help meet internal targets while contributing to treatment works knowledge and decision-making.

The role involves investigating infringements, supporting projects, and building relationships across Operations, Engineering, and other internal customers; travel across sites is required with a UK

Qualifications

• Essential HNC or Degree (or equivalent) in a Scientific or Engineering discipline.
• Driving licence valid in the UK.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and report infringements and feedback on remedial actions for Operations Teams.
• Provide support to Capex schemes/Projects as required.
• Develop professional relationships with Operations, Engineering and other internal customers.
• Liaise with water quality monitoring teams (catchment, groundwater, regulatory response).
• Identify developments/optimisations to improve asset performance and suggest initiatives.
