The manufacturing company on the outskirts of Cheltenham is seeking a hands-on technician with COSHH knowledge. The role involves water testing, machinery maintenance, data analysis and reporting, working Mon-Fri 7am–3pm. On-site position with on-call every third weekend and annual salary £39,340.

You will test water samples, monitor data, report anomalies to the HS&E Manager, and ensure compliance with Environmental Permitting. Driving own transport is essential.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of monitoring data sheets and environmental data handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Interest in environmental and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Take and test water samples.
• Record data accurately in IT systems.
• Report anomalies to HS&E Manager.
• Carry out machine maintenance and repairs.
• Operate FLT as required.
• Ensure discharge and water quality monitoring per permits.
• Assist with risk assessments and data presentations monthly.
