Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Ltd is seeking a Water Treatment Technician for the Leicester area. The role is field-based, supporting our Environment & Safety division and working across large contracts in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

You will perform inspections, sampling, and reporting, travelling to client sites and collaborating with the team to ensure compliance and safe water systems. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in all of the tasks listed above.
• A can-do attitude.
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cold water storage tanks and recommend remedial works.
• Thermostatic mixing valve checks and servicing.
• Water temperature monitoring.
• Closed system sampling and analysis.
• Cooling tower sampling and analysis.
• Report writing and client discussions.

Water Treatment Technician - Leicester Area

This could be your opportunity to excel as a Water Treatment Technician as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Water Treatment Technician to join our Environment & Safety division.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and committed to join our team. The role is a field based role, working across a number of large contracts in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
