AWD online is hiring Field Technicians to cover Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas. The role involves practical fieldwork across client sites, with training and clear paths from Technician to Senior Engineer. Two positions available: one with experience and a trainee opportunity for motivated candidates.

You will perform monitoring, sampling and inspections, complete electronic reports, and support customers in a growing field team. A company vehicle is provided.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence is essential and a requirement to operate the company vehicle.
• Professional, reliable attitude with good communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and travel when required.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and safety awareness.
• Willingness to stay away from home when required and pass Enhanced DBS check.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out water hygiene monitoring and inspections on client sites.
• Perform water sampling and testing activities in the field.
• Clean and disinfect water storage tanks and descale showerheads/outlets as needed.
• Inspect and maintain TMVs and complete closed system monitoring.
• Follow flushing programmes and complete electronic reports and records.
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide customer support.
• Adhere to ACOP L8, HSG274 and company procedures.

JOB OVERVIEW

A varied opportunity to work across client sites while developing a career in water hygiene and compliance is available, with the Field Technician carrying out practical monitoring, sampling, testing and inspections.

With two positions available, the Field Technician team will include both an experienced water hygiene professional and someone joining with transferable skills and learning the role through training and support.

The Field Technician will also complete electronic reports, maintaining records and supporting customers while working as part of a growing field team.

DUTIES

• Water Hygiene Monitoring and Inspections: Carry out temperature monitoring and water hygiene inspections
• Water Sampling and Testing: Complete water sampling and testing activities
• Tank Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect water storage tanks
• Showerhead and Outlet Descaling: Descale showerheads and outlets
• TMV Inspections and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain thermostatic mixing valves
• Closed System Monitoring: Complete closed system monitoring activities
• Flushing Programmes: Carry out flushing programmes
• Electronic Reporting and Record Keeping: Complete accurate electronic reports and records
• Client Liaison and Customer Support: Communicate professionally with clients and provide customer support
• Compliance Standards and Procedures: Complete activities in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274 and company procedures

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Full UK driving licence

• Live within 2 hours’ travel of the Weston-Super-Mare office
