Job summary

Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Project Manager to deliver a major water sector upgrade near Christchurch. Hybrid working is available, reporting to Senior PM or Operations Manager, coordinating design, construction, commissioning and handover to end users.

The role requires multi-disciplinary project leadership, strong communication, and a solid grasp of NEC/IChemE contracts, CDM safety rules, and risk management. Competitive package and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline.
• PMQ or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent oral and written communication with clients, stakeholders and end users.
• Delivery driven with ability to set targets and manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and delivery quality standards for direct and contracted work.
• Ensure BMS is implemented from tender to completion.
• Maintain client relationships at all levels.
• Maintain relationships with JV partners and suppliers.
• Ensure adequate trained personnel are available.
• Plan projects, approve PEP, monitor and control delivery.
• Prepare and approve detailed construction plans and method statements.
• Ensure records referred in PEP are complete at contract completion.
• Report and estimate costs for site non-conformities and changes.
• Manage commercial aspects to forecast and control costs.
• Apply project management practices from conception to end user acceptance.
• Implement quality, safety and environmental policies.
