Job summary

Anglian Water is recruiting an IOS Project Engineer for locations in Peterborough, Lincoln and Northampton. The role centres on leading engineering activities across the project lifecycle under NEC3 contracts, ensuring compliance with governance standards and HSE expectations.

You will collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to develop robust solutions, manage risks, and deliver value to customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Education to A level or equivalent required.
• Engineering qualifications desirable.
• Knowledge of H&S legislation and CDM Regulation.
• Water Industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Scope technical solutions that meet operational and business needs.
• Challenge data, assumptions, and drivers to identify the best value solution.
• Lead Delivery Assurance meetings across the project lifecycle.
• Review project outputs to ensure governance and compliance requirements are met.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, designers, operational teams, and stakeholders.
• Undertake site assurance activities during construction and commissioning.
• Provide engineering expertise throughout delivery and own technical issues through to resolution.
