Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of clean water infrastructure projects from inception through to handover. You will manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensure delivery on time, within budget and to required quality while assessing risks and opportunities.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders and regulators, maintain schedules and budgets, and champion health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• NEC3/NEC4 ECC project manager accreditation or demonstrable NEC delivery.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 ECC and contract interpretation.
• Knowledge of civil, M&E, or process principles in water sector.
• Strong budget, cost control and financial forecasting.
• Proven ability to manage risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for clean water infrastructure projects.
• Lead NEC contract administration, awards, variations, and final accounts.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules and work plans.
• Monitor expenditure and forecast costs to stay within funding.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Engage with operations, consultants, contractors, regulators, customers, and local authorities.
• Ensure deliverables meet technical specs, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead health, safety and environment practices and CDM compliance.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve objectives.
