Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Operations team, based at Earlswood or Crawley Sewage Treatment Works with travel to around nine other sites. You will coordinate both internal field teams and external contractors to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring site availability and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and coordinating maintenance work in a process plant.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and RAMS.
• Proven track record of coordinating field teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP prerequisites (materials, permits, resources, services) for planned and reactive work.
• Design operationally critical jobs using field data and technical expertise.
• Highlight operational risks and obtain funding where needed.
• Maintain plant and equipment availability and optimise treatment performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant work.
• Obtain quotes and manage 3rd party services through framework contractors.
• Ensure Health and Safety is managed with RAMS reviews, permits, and site audits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance like lifting equipment and generators.
