Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Technical Coordinator for the Hardham site, with willingness to travel across Sussex and a current full UK driving licence. This permanent role is 37 hours per week with a standby rota, and a starting salary up to £41,500 plus standby payments.

You will carry out audits to ensure safety, environmental and cleanliness standards, support planned work across multiple sites, and manage unannounced regulatory audits while liaising with contractors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and operational background.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site audits to ensure safety, environmental and cleanliness standards.
• Support planned work and coordinate operational activities across multiple sites.
• Respond to unplanned events and assist in health and safety management.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage unannounced regulatory audits and relationships with regulators.
• Deputise for the Field Performance Manager when required.
