Scottish Water is seeking a Process Science Team Leader to guide a team of Water Scientists in the North, delivering high-quality technical advice and leading investigations into water quality issues. You will oversee operational plans and ensure continuous improvement across the region.

You will champion a proactive, collaborative culture, lead regional meetings and drive innovative approaches while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Strong people leadership and ability to inspire teams.
• Solid understanding of water treatment processes and scientific principles.
• Ability to apply knowledge to operational challenges and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Full UK driving licence; ability to work in an agile, autonomous environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and direction to the Water Scientists to deliver expert advice across the region.
• Lead root cause analyses for water quality failures and identify solutions.
• Oversee implementation and ownership of Water Operational System Plans.
• Regularly review High Impact System Status Sheets and keep them up to date.
• Support events and emerging issues at water treatment assets and maintain water quality performance.
• Lead regional Water Quality Management meetings and local discussions.
