Job summary

TALENTOMETRY LIMITED seeks a Software Commissioning Engineer to deliver PLC/HMI installations across UK client sites in the water sector. You will lead commissioning activities, perform telemetry works and signal testing, and manage FAT/SAT testing and on-site configuration of MCC components.

The role offers hybrid working (office/home/UK sites), a salary up to £40k with pension and death in service, and opportunities to contribute to full project lifecycles from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Mitsubishi GX Works 3 and GT Designer 3, plus Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and RSView.
• Electrical background with ability to read diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel/work away from home.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities on site across UK client sites.
• Carry out FAT/SAT testing and on-site software testing.
• Configure MCC components and implement software changes to snag lists.
• Contribute to full project lifecycle from design to handover.
