Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Site Manager/Water Agent to lead our Water Rehabilitation contract for United Utilities, delivering improvements to the clean water network across designated areas.

You will supervise operatives, plan works, monitor safety, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high customer service standards for the communities served.

A focus on HSEQ, quality checks, and liaison with authorities will be essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, authorities and third parties.
• Skills and confidence to supervise and coordinate site requirements and tasks.
• Understanding of contract commercial mechanisms.
• Ability to coach, manage and lead people.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors have equipment, materials, training and competencies.
• Demonstrate good time management and flexibility to meet needs.
• Perform prestart checks to ensure timely work.
• Liaise with customers, clients, local authorities and third parties.
• Order fittings, pipes and materials for works.
• Provide supervision and coaching to teams to meet production and safety standards.
• Perform quality checks and on-site inspections as required.
• Carry out toolbox talks and briefings within the specified timeframes.
• Maintain weekly checks and up-to-date HSEQ documentation.
• Oversee daily operations and address issues to avoid costs of failure.
• Identify and mitigate safety, environmental, and delays risks.
• Develop contingency plans for emergencies.
• Attend contractual meetings and planning sessions.
