Job summary

Severn Trent Water invites applications for a Network Optimisation Technician based at our Packsaddle site in Wales. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, focused on monitoring, evaluating and optimising the clean water distribution network to improve performance and reduce leakage.

Working with the Network Optimisation Specialist and Support Technician, you will analyse asset performance, investigate network issues and prepare technical reports using hydraulic modelling to support

Qualifications

Experience with water networks or utility assets in an operational/engineering setting.
Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and modelling.
Ability to analyse data and investigate network issues.
Proactive problem-solver focused on service delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide technical analysis to optimise water distribution network performance.
Investigate network issues and recommend solutions to improve service and reduce risk.
Produce technical reports and graphical analyses to support investment decisions.
Collaborate with specialists to deliver leakage and service performance targets.
