Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Water Network Operations Team Lead to oversee a regional team responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of water assets. You will ensure consistent customer service, lead a skilled workforce and manage costs within budget while complying with health and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of water networks, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the regional operations.

Qualifications

Secondary education or equivalent.
QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate– Craft or equivalent.
Craft of Pipefitting or Plumbing is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of network operatives across the water infrastructure.
Control operational activities in a geographical area including valves, storage, trunk mains and pumping stations.
Budget and resource management for the network operations team.
Coach and develop team members to achieve performance and safety goals.
Respond to alarms and coordinate with Telemetry Services where required.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement SOPs and task plans.
Monitor KPIs and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Contribute to incident response and customer service excellence.
