Job Opportunity: Water / Mould Damage Technician

We have an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, reputable company as a Water / Mould Damage Technician. Our client offers high-quality customer care and service, utilizing industry-leading processes. The company primarily operates within the South-East from their base in the London Borough of Havering, but travel and work are undertaken across the UK.

Our client holds numerous professional accreditations, including BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and BS EN ISO 14001:2015, with annual independent audits ensuring quality and reassurance. They provide reliable, professional, around-the-clock support services for water damage and mould contamination issues.

About the role

The key duties of the Water / Mould Damage Technician include:

  1. Emergency and routine attendance to properties damaged by flooding and mould growth.
  2. Training will be provided to prepare scopes of work, conduct relevant tests, plan remediation, estimate costs, write reports, complete inventories, and monitor recovery processes.
  3. Writing detailed, accurate reports and cost appraisals to update and inform clients when necessary.
  4. Liaising with various stakeholders at all levels.
About you

To succeed in this role, ideally, you will have:

  • GCSE English & Maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in construction, industrial cleaning, damage management, or related fields.
  • Ideally, 3 A-Levels at grade B or above or a relevant degree in mycology, science, or engineering.
  • A full UK manual driving license.
Hours & Rewards

Working hours are typically 9am to 5pm, with flexibility for earlier or later start and finish times based on customer needs. The role may require being 'on call' for weekends, nights, or bank holidays, with enhanced pay rates. Occasionally, travel within the UK and overnight stays may be necessary.
