Job summary

Contract Scotland is recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join an established team delivering Scottish Water infrastructure projects across Inverness and North Scotland. You will coordinate site activities, manage programmes and supervise contractors to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

The role offers responsibility on site within a long-term water infrastructure framework and requires strong civil engineering experience with a focus on delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering and infrastructure delivery preferred.
• Water industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong on-site coordination and programme management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of works on site
• Producing and managing programmes to ensure successful project delivery
• Supervising site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards
• Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential issues
• Working closely with the Site Agent, Project Manager and wider delivery team
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors
• Supporting commercial and operational performance across the project
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant health, safety and environmental requirements
