Job summary

Vanrath is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to lead water infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery of high-quality works, on time and to drawings and specifications.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years’ site management experience in the water sector, and strong communication with clients and stakeholders. Driving licence and site cards are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager.
• Experience in clean or wastewater sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, programmes.
• Knowledge of setting out, CAD, construction tolerances and standards.
• Proactive with ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Valid site cards and full driving licence.
• Willingness to work across Northern Ireland.
• Ability to work with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
• Manage delivery of water infrastructure works in line with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials, identifying delays and implementing recovery measures.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports and attend client, subcontractor and progress meetings.
• Oversee setting out and ensure construction meets tolerances, standards and client requirements.
• Support SHEQ by reviewing RAMS, monitoring environmental controls and completing Inspection Test Plans.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on site while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
