Job summary

Matchtech Group seeks a Civil Supervisor to support essential water infrastructure works on a contract basis. The role focuses on overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and upholding high safety, health, environmental and quality standards throughout project delivery.

The ideal candidate has civil construction supervision experience, SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card, with strong communication and organisation skills to manage fast-paced site environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil construction on site.
• Water/utilities sector experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SHEQ and construction compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors to deliver work safely and to standards.
• Monitor site safety, health, environment and quality compliance.
• Maintain procedures and project guidance.
• Place orders and raise requisitions as required.
• Keep accurate site diaries and project documentation.
• Facilitate communication between site teams, subcontractors and management.
