Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Site Manager for a permanent water infrastructure role in Liss. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure delivery to designs and programmes.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, monitor progress and resources, and complete site records and reports. SMSTS qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in water, utilities or civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of site management and project delivery.
• Familiar with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and programmes.
• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations across water sector projects
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to support smooth project delivery
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved designs, programmes and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance
• Monitoring progress, productivity and resource requirements on site
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and client representatives
• Identifying and resolving site issues, risks and delays promptly
• Completing site records, reports and relevant project documentation
