Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Reactive Civils Supervisor to oversee drainage and civils works across the South of England. This hands-on leadership role will manage site teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources and ensuring delivery to programme while maintaining safety standards.

The role acts as the key link between site operations and management, with responsibilities including health & safety compliance, quality control and participation in an out-of-hours standby rota.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civils, drainage, or utilities projects.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Street Works (Operative or Supervisor)
• Confined Space
• EUSR Modules 1-5
• Full UK Driving Licence

Reactive Civils Supervisor

Location: Southern Water Region

Matchtech is looking for an experienced Reactive Civils Supervisor to oversee drainage and civils works across the South of England.

You'll be responsible for managing site teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and driving the successful delivery of reactive works. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll act as the key link between site operations and management.

Requirements:

• Experience supervising civils, drainage, or utilities projects
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Street Works (Operative or Supervisor)
• Confined Space
• EUSR Modules 1-5
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• SSSTS
• IOSH
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations

The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours standby rota.
