Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of water treatment and civil engineering works. You will work with site management, project engineers, subcontractors and design teams to ensure work is safe, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

The role covers setting out, surveying, reading CAD drawings, and supporting reinforced concrete structures, pipelines and tanks.

Qualifications

Proven Site Engineer experience on water/utility/infrastructure projects.
Experience with reinforced concrete, pipelines and water treatment infrastructure.
Ability to read, interpret and navigate CAD drawings.
Knowledge of RAMS, construction methodologies and QA/ITP processes.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out day-to-day engineering activities across water treatment and civil works.
Setting out and surveying works per drawings and specifications.
Establishing levels, coordinates, dimensions and tolerances using surveying equipment.
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and CAD drawings.
Assisting with delivery of reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, chambers, tanks and other water infrastructure.
Checking works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and project requirements.
Supporting RAMS and construction methodologies.
Carrying out site inspections and ensuring works meet ITPs.
Maintaining QA records, inspection documentation and as-built information.
