Job summary

RTL Group Ltd seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead a major water treatment construction scheme in the UK. You will oversee shafts, pipelines, civils and associated infrastructure, ensuring safe delivery to programme and to the required specification.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and client. Strong safety culture and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience on water, wastewater, utilities or major civil engineering projects.
• SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and CDM.
• Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.
• Experience with shaft construction or underground works is highly desirable.
• Good communication, leadership and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Oversee construction activities including shaft works, excavations, concrete structures, pipelines and treatment facilities.
• Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are followed.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.
