Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Water Consultancy Division in the UK. You will lead delivery of lower complexity water projects or support senior managers across our UK offices, ensuring cost, time and quality targets are met.

You will work with clients and contractors, building lasting relationships within a collaborative, health-focused environment. We value autonomy, strong communication, and a practical understanding of project controls and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering or a related discipline.
• Project delivery experience of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
• Ability to operate autonomously and as part of a larger team.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental issues.
• Strong IT and digital capability.
• Solid commercial acumen and experience of project planning and controls.
• APM qualifications or equivalent.
• NEC experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations.
• Project scheduling expertise with MS Project or P6.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the delivery of lower complexity projects, or support a Senior Technical Project Manager.
• Provide project and design management support to ensure delivery to cost, time and quality.
• Grow and develop your career within a dedicated project delivery team.
