Job summary

Rullion is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead delivery of water and infrastructure projects across the UK. The role combines technical leadership with people management, supporting concept through detailed design and construction phases.

Based in any UK office with hybrid working (2 days from home). You will mentor engineers, manage resources and foster client relationships while upholding safety, quality and best practice standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering civil, infrastructure or water sector projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of water/wastewater assets, pipelines and pumping stations.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams in consultancy or contractor environments.
• Proven ability to provide governance, design assurance and engineering oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing resources, budgets and delivery programmes.
• Clear communication and collaborative leadership style.
• Understanding of British Standards and water industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams delivering water and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations and reports.
• Act as Technical Lead or Design Lead on major projects.
• Support planning, resourcing and delivery to programme and budget.
• Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and develop engineers to industry best practice.
• Promote safety, quality and sustainability across teams.
