Job summary

Rullion Ltd is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to take a leading role in delivering robust process engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects. This senior role requires Chartered or near-Chartered status and hands-on design delivery.

You will own process engineering activities across projects, provide technical leadership, review design deliverables, and mentor engineers from design through commissioning. Hybrid work from Manchester is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of process design experience in the regulated water industry.
• Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and plant design.
• Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of efficient, practical and technically robust process design solutions.
• Reviewing design deliverables, technical reports, specifications and DRAs.
• Checking and approving mass balances, process sizing, hydraulic calculations and PFDs.
• Reviewing control philosophies and commissioning strategies.
• Providing technical guidance and oversight across projects.
• Supporting tender submissions, technical proposals and project planning.
• Directing, mentoring and developing engineers and graduates.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and water company requirements.
• Ensuring design changes are controlled and recorded.
• Leading HAZOP, ALM, KM and other technical review meetings.
