Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Apprentice Electrical Engineer to join the Water team in Exeter. You will work under a mentor on electrical design for water and wastewater projects, gaining experience from site surveys to 3D/BIM coordination.

The role develops through our Apprentice ADVANCE programme, supporting an Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, with a hybrid working model and a focus on training and progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs (including Maths & English).
• Three A-Levels including Maths and a physical science - essential for level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.
• Demonstrate interest in Electrical Engineering in the Water industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design for water and wastewater projects, including calculations and schedules.
• Develop SLDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with CAD/Revit teams for BIM coordination and on-site surveys.
