Kier Group plc. is hiring a Senior Design Manager to lead design teams on Thames Water Capital Framework projects in Surrey. You will drive concept through detailed design, ensuring regulatory compliance and client objectives are met. Strong BIM and stakeholder management skills are essential.

The role requires chartered engineering standing, proven people leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver value-driven solutions for essential water infrastructure.

Formación

• Significant experience in the water or wastewater industry.
• Degree-qualified engineer, ideally chartered.
• Proven people and project management capabilities.
• Experience leading consultants and contractors' designers; knowledge of BIM.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and performance manage design teams, ensuring delivery on time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage design programmes and coordinate with partners to ensure deliverables meet project milestones.
• Conduct technical design reviews and implement quality assurance procedures to achieve right-first-time outcomes.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders, building trust through timely and accurate information.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and drive innovation to deliver cost-effective, outcome-based solutions.
