Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting for a Commercial Lead/Commercial Manager to join a major £140m water infrastructure project in Romsey. You will take commercial responsibility, lead an established team and work closely with the Project Director to drive cost control and value delivery.

NEC Option C (Target Cost) expertise is essential, with a track record in water or civil infrastructure. The role offers significant responsibility and long-term delivery opportunities on a major capital scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Lead or Senior QS on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong NEC Option C (Target Cost) contract experience.
• Experience in water sector or major civil engineering projects.
• Experience leading commercial teams and subcontractor packages.
• Knowledge of CVR reporting and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial team including senior QS staff.
• Oversee project financials and commercial performance.
• Manage procurement activities and subcontractor appointments.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports for leadership and Board.
• Validate CTC forecasts and CVR reporting accuracy.
• Oversee NEC Option C contractual administration.
