Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants – Powered by Vadella is recruiting for Trainee Water Hygiene Technicians to support our Legionella/Water Hygiene team across sites nationwide. This is a full-time, remote-friendly role with a salary of £27,000–£29,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will join a growing national building compliance business and receive comprehensive training, plus opportunities for career progression within the Bradley Environmental Consultants/Vadella group.

Qualifications

• No previous asbestos experience required; full training provided.
• Good written and verbal communication for record-keeping and liaising with clients.
• Willingness to work at height, in confined spaces and in plant rooms (training provided).
• A full, clean UK driving licence (Essential).
• Willingness to undertake further training and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks, including temperature checks, visual inspections and flushing of little-used outlets.
• Helping identify and report any deficiencies, defects or non-compliance issues on client water systems.
• Maintaining accurate records and logbooks in line with L8/HSG274, on-site and in digital systems.
• Assisting with chlorination and disinfection procedures.
• Ensuring safety by following site health and safety procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
• Travelling to various client sites across a wide geographical area.
• Completing required paperwork and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships with client site contacts.
