Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants – Powered by Vadella is seeking a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician to support our Legionella/Water Hygiene team. This field-based role involves site work across the UK, with full training provided and a clear path for progression.

You will learn to perform monitoring and reporting in line with L8 ACOP and HSG274, travel to client sites, and develop professional customer service skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills for record-keeping and liaising with clients.
• Willingness to work at height, in confined spaces and in plant rooms (training provided).
• Full, clean UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks (temperature checks, inspections, flushing).
• Identify and report deficiencies or non-compliance on client water systems.
• Maintain records/logbooks in line with L8/HSG274; use digital reporting systems.
