Job summary

Marsh Environmental in Manchester is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to carry out maintenance, servicing and repair works to current standards and legislation, focusing on safe water systems for commercial clients.

You will perform temperature checks, water sampling, TMV inspections, disinfections, tank cleans, and reporting, while coordinating with clients and Marsh teams to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene.
• Knowledge of Legionella.
• Knowledge of commercial plumbing.
• Knowledge of building services.

Responsibilities

• Perform water hygiene and treatment maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Record results, provide recommendations, and submit timesheets.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and Marsh personnel.
• Attend to emergencies and operate within PPE guidelines.
• Organise workload efficiently and work within a team.
