Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in Guildford is seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to cover local contracts across commercial, healthcare, and local authority premises. The role requires a good technical knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines, and the ability to work across a range of sites with a professional manner.

You will perform showerhead descales, tank inspections, TMV servicing, water sampling, temperature monitoring, and logbook updates while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Fully conversant in ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Familiar with HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong communication skills across various premises.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Professional manner when on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of water hygiene compliance duties.
• Showerhead descales.
• Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks.
• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• Basic flushing on outlets.
• Updating logbooks.
• Working to set project deadlines.
