Job summary

Marsh is looking for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our team in Slough. You will perform water hygiene inspections, sampling, TMV servicing, and keep sites compliant with current standards.

The role requires safe working practices, clear reporting, and effective communication with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in water treatment, knowledge of HSG 274 and related codes, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Water Hygiene service industry.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical plant.
• ACoP L8, HSG 274 Parts 1-3 and BS 8580 WRA Code of Practice understood.
• BS 8552 Sampling and Monitoring of Water from Closed Systems knowledge.
• BSRIA BG 50 Water Treatment for Heating and Cooling Systems understood.
• Driving Licence required.
• Intermediate/Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out temperature checks, water sampling, TMV inspections and servicing.
• Perform shower cleaning and disinfection, tank inspections and cleaning.
• Service or replace water softeners and filters as required.
• Ensure works comply with Marsh and LA regulations; communicate with clients, suppliers and Marsh staff.
• Organise work efficiently; work collaboratively with the team and provide reports and weekly timesheets.
