Water Hygiene Technician – Colchester

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Water Hygiene Technician within SOCOTEC’s Environment & Safety division. The position involves assisting the business in maintaining high standards of water hygiene and safety across client sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cold water storage tanks and recommend remedial works
• Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks
• Perform thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing
• Collect water samples
• Monitor water temperature
• Descale showerheads

Qualifications

• Experience in some or all of the tasks listed above, or readiness to receive training
• A “can do” attitude
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

Note: MOD Security Clearance is required for this role once appointed.
