Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division in central London. The role is a static, site-based position at a high-profile building, focusing on water hygiene tasks and compliance testing.

You will perform inspections, sampling, and analysis, with on-site test kit work and a requirement for a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in all listed water hygiene tasks on site.
• Experience in on-site test kit analysis (essential).
• Can-do attitude and reliability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cold water storage tanks and recommend remedial works.
• Perform thermostatic mixing valve checks and servicing.
• Monitor water temperatures and record results.
• Conduct closed system sampling and analysis.
• Conduct cooling tower sampling and analysis.
• Carry out chlorine dioxide testing.

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and committed to join our team. The role is a static role, based at a high profile building in central London.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works
• Thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing
• Water temperature monitoring
• Closed System sampling and analysis
• Cooling Tower sampling and analysis
• Chlorine Dioxide testing

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience inallof the tasks listed above
• Experience in on site test kit analysis (essential)
• A “can do” attitude
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel
