Job summary

Future Select Recruitment seeks a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. The role covers a range of water hygiene duties with a well-known employer in the Water Hygiene/Legionella sector. You will perform tank cleans, TMV works, calorifier/tap replacements and piping modifications, while maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer within a well-established outfit.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is the minimum qualification.
• G3 Unvented ticket is preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks.
• TMV servicing and installations.
• Calorifier replacements.
• Tap replacements.
• Modifying and re-routing pipework.
• Showerhead descales.
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Updating logbooks.
• Identifying required remedial works.
