Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer based in the North West, ideally covering Wigan and surrounding areas. The role involves hands-on maintenance including tank cleans, TMV work, pipework modifications and routine water monitoring.

You will progress through training with a well-known Water Hygiene firm, gaining exposure to HSG 274, ACOP L8, and legionella control. A vehicle, pension, and annual leave are among the benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer within a well-established outfit.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum).
• G3 Unvented ticket preferred.
• Knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Flexible to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks.
• TMV servicing and installations.
• Calorifier replacements.
• Tap replacements.
• Modify and re-route pipework.
• Showerhead descales.
• Swap expansion vessels.
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Basic flushing on little used outlets.
• Updating logbooks.
• Identify remedial works required.

Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the North West of England for a multi-skilled engineer, ideally able to conduct a range of Water Hygiene and Remedial duties. Our client is a well-known name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a nationwide presence and growing client base. Duties would include: deadleg removals, TMV replacements, cleans / disinfections, pipework adjustments and routine sampling / monitoring. Experience / Qualifications
