Job summary

Future Select is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to service sites around Enfield and the Greater London area. You will perform pre-planned ACOP L8 duties, conduct cleans/disinfections on cold water storage tanks, and carry out sampling and temperature monitoring as part of the routine program.

The role requires experience in water hygiene, familiarity with HSG 274 and ACOP L8, and strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit.
• Ideally will have training / qualifications within the industry (i.e. Cleans & Disinfections, TMV servicing, Sampling etc)
• Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Strong communication skills
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Experience working across a diverse portfolio of sites

Responsibilities

• Undertaking pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance duties across commercial, healthcare and local authority sites
• Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• CLO2 testing
• Tank inspections
• Showerhead and outlet descales
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
• Maintaining high standards of service

Our client is a highly respected name within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry, with a busy presence across the South East of England. Due to continued company growth, they are seeking a reliable and professional Water Hygiene Engineer to join their successful team. You will be attending sites in/around the M25, to conduct cleans and disinfection duties, in addition to routine pre-planned monitoring/sampling. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, and will have an established skillset.
