Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover projects across the North-West. The role includes on-site fieldwork with potential stay-aways, a van and benefits are provided.

You will be responsible for monitoring temperatures, cleaning and disinfecting taps, tanks and CWSTs, maintaining site logbooks and supporting the team with on-going legionella risk management. A full driving license and DBS (Enhanced) are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene or Legionella risk management.
• DBS enhanced clearance preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the North-West.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature of tap outlets and tanks.
• Clean, descale and disinfect shower heads and hoses.
• Clean/disinfect CWSTs and maintain associated equipment.
• Maintain site logbooks and identify future works.
• Travel across North-West with company van support.

Legionella Compliance Consultancy are expanding their water team and currently require a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover projects across the North-West with some stay aways. Sites will include Offices, NHS, Education and Retail.

Skill set summary for the Water Hygiene Engineer will include:

• Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks
• Cleaning, Descaling and Disinfections of shower heads and hoses
• Cleaning/Disinfections of CWST
• Maintaining site logbook, identifying future works
• Full driving license
• DBS Checked (Enhanced)

With work planned 1 month in advance, you will join an existing team, receive additional internal and external training and gain qualifications to take forward in your career. With a full benefits package including Van, Mobile and Stay Away Bonus
