Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is recruiting a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer to join the team in Wigan. You will perform sampling/monitoring, plumbing installations and servicing across multiple client sites, with diverse duties and a requirement to travel in line with company needs across the North West.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (Level 3 advantageous), the G3 Unvented ticket if possible, and a good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is the minimum requirement.
• G3 Unvented ticket preferred but not mandatory.
• ACOP L8 and HSG 274 knowledge is expected.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills are required.
• Willingness to travel across the North West as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide variety of compliance and remedial duties across client premises.
• Deadleg removals.
• Pipework modifications and replacements.
• Installing and servicing water heaters.
• Tank cleans, disinfections and chlorinations.
• TMV servicing and replacements.
• Showerhead disinfections.
• Training into Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Completing regular service reports.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients.

Job Title: Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer

Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer to join their team. Ideally, they are seeking someone in the North West, who is happy to travel in line with company requirements. This role would suit someone who has a diverse skillset, and enjoys a varied workload day to day, as duties can vary from sampling/monitoring to larger plumbing installations and servicing. Ideally applicants will hold NVQ Levels in Plumbing and the G3 Unvented ticket. Our client is offering training into Legionella Risk Assessing and beyond, in addition to attractive salaries and benefits.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer
• Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum (holding the Level 3 would be advantageous)
• Preferrably, you will also hold the G3 Unvented ticket
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
