Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer or Technician to cover two static healthcare sites in Nottingham, ensuring legionella compliance and site safety. The role offers a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 plus a company van and benefits.

Candidates should have 2+ years' Water Hygiene experience, knowledge of sampling, TMV servicing, tank cleans and descales, and hold a valid driving licence with DBS clearance. Travel across listed Nottingham areas may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Water Hygiene Engineer or Technician.
• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales.
• Full driving license and DBS clearance.
• Willing to cover static healthcare sites in Nottingham.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines.
• Communicate required follow-up work to head office and mentor junior team members.

Our client a Health and Safety Consultancy that provide fire risk, asbestos and legionella compliance services have secured a new contract and require a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover 2 static health care sites in Nottingham.

The Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician will be responsible for ensuring all sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines, further work required is communicated to head office and junior members of the team are provided with expert guidance where needed.

• 2+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician
• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales
• Full driving license
• Ability to undertake overtime where required
• DBS Checked
