Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover commercial sites across the Midlands, with potential work extending towards Manchester and Worcester. The role offers a salary of £28,000–£32,000 plus a van and benefits.

The successful candidate will ensure all sites stay legionella compliant, work under ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines, and may receive training to cross-train into risk assessment and plumbing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales.
• Full driving license.
• Ability to undertake overtime where required.
• DBS checked.

Responsibilities

Water Hygiene Engineer - Midlands

£28000-£32000 + Van + Benefits

Our client a Health and Safety Consultancy are growing their Midlands team and are actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover commercial sites around the Midlands and towards Manchester and down to Worcester.

Sites will be varied with new contracts also being finalised in the same area. Some stay aways may be required, but all work is commutable, so this is not expected.

To apply for the Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician role, the following experience is required:

• 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales
• Full driving license
• Ability to undertake overtime where required
• DBS Checked

The Water Hygiene Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines, you will receive full training and will also be given the opportunity to cross train into risk assessing and plumbing.
