Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover the Bristol area (M5 & M4 Corridor). The role involves ensuring legionella compliance across varied sites, with a 28k–35k salary plus van and benefits.

You will monitor sampling, tank cleans and TMV servicing, and may undertake occasional overtime. Full driving licence and DBS check are required. Training and cross-training into risk assessment and plumbing are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales.
• Full driving license.
• DBS checked.
• Ability to undertake overtime where required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines.
• Receive full training and cross-train into risk assessment and plumbing.
• Cover the Bristol area, including the M5 & M4 Corridor; maintain varied sites.

Water Hygiene Engineer - Bristol (covering M5 & M4 Corridor)

£28000-£35000 + Van + Benefits

Our client are a Health and Safety Consultancy that provide end to end compliance solutions to commercial clients across the UK. They are currently looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their South-West team and cover the M5 & M4 Corridor.

Sites will be varied with new contracts also being finalised in the same area. Some stay aways may be required, but all work in the most part is commutable, so this is not expected frequently.

Experience Required

• 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer


• Knowledge of sampling, monitoring, tank cleans, TMV servicing and descales


• Full driving license


• Ability to undertake overtime where required


• DBS Checked

The Water Hygiene Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all sites remain legionella compliant in line with ACoP L8 and 274 guidelines, you will receive full training and will also be given the opportunity to cross train into risk assessing and plumbing.
