Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer for Midlands sites. The role focuses on essential water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector locations, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in water hygiene or plumbing, a valid UK driving licence, and a solid understanding of compliance best practices. A company vehicle is provided and overtime opportunities exist to support progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a water hygiene or plumbing-related role.
• Relevant water hygiene training (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety and best practice

Responsibilities

• Carrying out water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector sites
• Temperature monitoring, system flushing and water sampling
• TMV servicing, maintenance and remedial works
• Inspection, cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks and calorifiers
• Shower head descaling and system disinfection
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01 and WRAS guidelines
