Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician to join their busy team covering the West Midlands. The role involves admin logging, routine monitoring to ACoP L8, water sampling, TMV servicing, and localised disinfection.

Candidates should have prior water hygiene experience, a full UK driving licence, and be able to pass a DBS check. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 with occasional Saturdays and a company van provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete admin tasks to log work (tablet provided).

• Collection of water samples from customer premises.
• Low use outlet flushing.
• Clean/descale shower heads/taps.
• Take water temperatures from outlets.
• Inspect water tanks.
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems.
• Thermostatic mixing valve servicing (TMV).
• Localised disinfection of outlets.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Water Hygiene Technician to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis. This role will mainly cover the West Midlands.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role will involve:

• Complete admin tasks to log work (tablet will be provided)
• Routine monitoring in line with ACoP L8
• Collection of water samples from customer premises
• Low use outlet flushing
• Clean/descale shower heads/taps
• Take water temperatures from various outlets
• Inspect water tanks
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems
• Thermostatic mixing valve servicing (TMV)
• Localised disinfection of outlets

The successful Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician will have:

• Previous experience within the role essential
• A full UK driving licence
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills

Previous plumbing experience would be advantageous though not essential.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
• Occasional Saturday (overtime)
