Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our client’s team for contracts in Central London. The role includes temperature monitoring, inspections of water systems, and maintenance to ensure compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274.

A company van is provided for work, along with a benefits package. Applicants must have at least 18 months in water hygiene, hold a UK driving licence, and be willing to undertake training to develop their skillset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months working in a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to attend training courses to develop skills.
• Understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines desired.
• Enhanced DBS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and testing.
• Hot and cold-water system inspections.
• Showerhead cleaning and disinfection.
• Cold water storage tank inspections.
• TMV servicing and general maintenance.
• Maintaining site logbooks.
• Identifying further work required and ensuring all work follows ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
