Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a London-based team, covering Greater London and surrounding areas. The role offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 with a company van, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package.

Full training is provided across legionella control disciplines including CWST sampling, cooling towers, and remedials. Ideal candidates will have experience with temperature monitoring, CWST inspections, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene and legionella control.
• Knowledge of CWST, thermal disinfection and sampling procedures.
• Ability to perform site inspections and produce clear reports.
• Willingness to travel regionally across Greater London.

Responsibilities

• Conduct temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems.
• Carry out inspections and take samples of CWSTs (cleans and disinfections).
• Perform Cold Water Storage Tank inspections and related tasks.
• Carry out Calorifier blowdowns and TMV servicing/calibration.
• Clean and descale shower heads and outlets as required.
• Attend water heater and calorifier inspections.
• Write comprehensive reports on completed jobs.
